That's why EGYPTAIR MAINTENANCE & ENGINEERING takes a tiered approach to ensure the management and integrity of our data.
The engineering applications are supported by The Sabre® Maxi-Merlin™
maintenance, engineering, and inventory system; it is an online, real-time
system that offers integrated maintenance functions.
The system helps
improve an airline's total quality management by improving aircraft on-time
performance, reducing maintenance and materials-related delays and
cancellations, and decreasing aircraft minimum equipment list items — all
while increasing parts utilization. It consists of following modules.
- Component Control System (CCS).
Control of operating times of all time-related activities.
It retains online, complete repair histories of each component
and provides reliability statistics
- Maintenance Activity, Communication and History System (MACH).
Collection, retrieval, scheduling, analysis, and communication of
all maintenance activity on aircraft. Planners can produce various reports.
- Material Services Control System (MSCS).
Complete inventory management and control requirements, such as
provisioning, purchasing, requisitions, receiving, inspection, storage,
and so on.
- Modification Control System (MCS).
Complete control of developing, assigning, scheduling, managing, and
accomplishing all aircraft, component, and repairable modifications,
including airworthiness directives, engineering orders, and service bulletins
- Production Control System (PCS).
Tracking of in-process aircraft services.
- Shop Planning System (SPS).
Management of the movement of routable and repairable parts from the point
of removal into the appropriate workshop and through the repair/overhaul process.
Integrates with the purchasing function of MSCS for movement to and from
outside vendors.
- Work Card System (WCS).
Creation and distribution of job procedure cards and work packages for aircraft,
modification, and component maintenance and inspection
