 Extensive Technical Activities in Base and Line Maintenance

EGYPTAIR MAINTENANCE & ENGINEERING witnessed extensive technical activities during January. On one hand, the technical staff of hangar 8000 performed 4C-Check for 2 A320s of the Belgian carrier Thomas Cook with expectations to expand the technical cooperation to include line maintenance services in domestic stations as well as base maintenance services for additional aircraft from Thomas Cook group. On the other hand, Hangar 7000's staff managed to perform Bridge Check and paint for B737-500 aircraft for the Russian airlines Aerovista according to the FAA requirements. Meanwhile, EGYPTAIR MAINTENANCE & ENGINEERING conducted 2A-Check for 2 B777s and 8A-check for 2 B737-800s of Orenair and C-Checks for two A320s of Al Masriya International Airlines and Nile Air.

Technical activities were extended outside EGYPTAIR MAINTENANCE & ENGINEERING facilities as technical teams were sent from Cairo to Sharm El Sheikh to conduct various checks on customers' aircraft as orenair sent B737-800 aircrafts for maintenance checks where all tasks were performed on time without any effect on their flight schedule also 2A-Checks were conducted on Corendon Airlines, B737-800.

In the Arab stations, technical teams managed to repair 2 engines for the Sudanese airline Aeolus' B737-800 in Khartoum station while another team performed Borescope checks for E-170 of Petro Air as part of the total care agreement with the Libyan carrier.

It is worth mentioning that the Turkish carrier, Sun Express, is to send three B737-800s in February and March.
