EGYPTAIR MAINTENANCE & ENGINEERING successfully received EASA audit

Within the periodic audit conducted by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) on EASA-approved companies, auditors from the French Civil Aviation Authority conducted their audit on EGYPTAIR MAINTENANCE & ENGINEERING Headquarter in Cairo, line maintenance in TB3, TB1, engine workshop, components workshop, tools and equipments stores, complex store besides total audit on Luxor and Hurgada airports in the period from 17 to 23 October 2009 to check the compliance of procedures with international standards.

They also audited the aircraft technical documents to ensure that international standards are applicable. They mainly focused on work procedures and aircraft heading to Europe. The result of this audit was positive with no major findings so that the EASA approval was successfully renewed.

On the other hand, EGYPTAIR MAINTENANCE & ENGINEERING is expected to receive FAR-145 audit as well as renewing the approval granted to EGYPTAIR MAINTENANCE & ENGINEERING in the coming February.
