Iberworld seeks more cooperation with EGYPTAIR M&E

A high delegation from Iberworld visited EGYPTAIR M&E to enhance means of cooperation between the two companies.

The delegation included Mr. Emeterio Lorente, Iberworld Chairman, Mr. Antonio Mota, Technical Manager and Mr. Cerdo Kico, Planning Manager. They discussed with EGYPTAIR M&E team, headed by Eng. Abdel Aziz Fadel, means of mutual cooperation between the two parties. They conducted a visit to the company's facilities and expressed their admiration with the high quality and capabilities which can compete with the capabilities of major European companies.

The delegation visited EGYPTAIR M&E Training Center and praised the available training facilities. They also met with Mr. Sherif El Maghlob, VP Commercial Department, Pilot Alaa Ashour, EGYPTAIR Airlines Planning VP,
 to see possible means of cooperation.
Noteworthy, Iberworld is operating seven A320 aircraft and three A330 aircraft. It is working in tourism activities as well as leasing charter airlines. It is also operating weekly flights to Sharm El Sheikh, Hurghada and Luxor.

On the other hand, in April / May 2009, EGYPTAIR M&E conducted base maintenance service to one of Iberworld A320 aircraft and Iberworld praised the work performed on their aircraft, therefore, they are seeking more cooperation with EGYPTAIR M&E.

Iberworld is in process to contract with EGYPTAIR M&E to perform overhaul to one of its A320 aircraft in November 2009 and 2 A330 in 2010 spring.
